# Jakub Skurčák — Full-Stack Developer

Full-Stack Developer based in Bratislava, Slovakia. 6+ years of web development experience and a growing focus on AI.

## About me

Born in Slovakia I first came to coding when I was about 12 y.o. Since then it was my passion along with cars, planes and technology. Today I have 6+ years of experience in web development and a growing obsession with AI. Self-taught at heart — supercharged by the great colleagues of mine I've encountered along the road. I'm a geek at heart with interest in anything technical and anything I can pick my brain with. Since the AI age begun I've invested a lot of my time into learning how to leverage this new type of technology, to supercharge my productivity and allow me to create software hardly possible before. My take on AI: a great force multiplier when wielded by someone understanding its strengths and weaknesses, but a dangerous path when misused.

Currently my preferred stack is [Vue 3](https://vuejs.org/), [Tailwind](https://tailwindcss.com/) and [AdonisJS](https://adonisjs.com/); [PHP](https://www.php.net/) is an old buddy, and with [ASP.NET](https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/apps/aspnet) and [Go](https://go.dev/) I'm on a first-name basis. [Python](https://www.python.org/) is like the niece you never wanted to babysit but you do it anyway. My goal is for my code to survive the refactoring sprees of other eager devs.

I'm no stranger to dev-ops and I'm well acquainted with the likes of Docker & Kubernetes. For databases, [Postgres](https://www.postgresql.org/) and [Redis](https://redis.io/) occupy the first drawer, but for special needs I also keep [MongoDB](https://www.mongodb.com/), [Neo4j](https://neo4j.com/) and [Qdrant](https://qdrant.tech/) at hand.

### Payment Terminal AI Assistant — AI Customer Support Platform

An AI-powered customer assistant for one of the world's largest payment terminal providers. Serves thousands of queries monthly through a chat interface backed by LangChain + Qdrant for RAG. Back-office UI built with AdonisJS + Inertia. Handled architecture end-to-end.

### Pharma Sales Intelligence — Sales Intelligence Platform

A platform that prepares pharmaceutical sales reps for client meetings with actionable, data-driven briefings. Ingests SAP sales, Veeva CRM, internal notes and product priorities, processed daily through a Python pipeline with a Neo4j knowledge graph and Anthropic-powered agents. Generates an audio podcast summary for hands-free prep. In active development.

### Fortuito — Personal Taste Curator

An AI that learns your taste across movies, books, games and more — remembering preferences and refining based on your reactions. Built with Restate for orchestration, Neo4j for the taste graph, and Anthropic Agents for the conversational layer. Active development.
